About Bricolage Grotesque

Mathieu Triay's Bricolage Grotesque takes the English grotesque tradition and lets it misbehave: irregular cuts, tight apertures and an optical size axis that grows more expressive as it gets bigger. It became a favourite for indie products and editorial sites that want character their neutral grotesque cannot give. As a variable font it spans quiet text cuts to loud posters in one file. Pair the display sizes with a calm text face so the personality stays deliberate.
