About Lobster
Pablo Impallari's Lobster is a bold retro script whose clever contextual ligatures join letters differently depending on their neighbours, keeping the connected look natural. It became one of the most used, and eventually most memed, free display fonts on the web, so it now reads as deliberately nostalgic. It still performs beautifully on labels, menus and badges. Use it sparingly at large sizes and pair it with plain type; two decorative faces on one page is one too many.
