About Sacramento

Brian Bonislawsky's Sacramento revives the monoline hand-lettering style of mid-century American brochures and shop signage: thin, even strokes, connected letters, no contrast anywhere. It is lighter and more understated than most scripts, lending designs a breezy, vintage-postcard feel. The hairline weight disappears at small sizes, so reserve it for large accent lines. It pairs naturally with clean geometric sans faces and lots of white space.
