About Poppins

Jonny Pinhorn drew Poppins for the Indian Type Foundry as a monolinear geometric with first-class Devanagari alongside Latin, one reason it spread so fast across South Asian design and then everywhere else. Every stroke is nearly the same weight, built on circles, which gives it a confident, poster-like clarity. It is hugely popular for landing pages and mobile apps. Its geometry tires the eye in long paragraphs, so pair it with Lora or a humanist sans for reading text.
