About Work Sans

Wei Huang optimised Work Sans for on-screen use at middle sizes, the 14 to 48px range where most web typography actually lives. It is a grotesque with the rough edges sanded off: neutral, evenly spaced, with just enough character in shapes like the R and Q to avoid blandness. That makes it a dependable default for agencies, portfolios and content sites. It pairs comfortably with almost any serif, and its lighter weights make elegant large headings.
