About Teko

An Indian Type Foundry design that pairs condensed Latin with matching Devanagari, originally developed from signage lettering. Teko's flat, open, squarish forms stay readable when squeezed, making it the go-to for scoreboards, sports graphics, tickers and data-dense headers where vertical space is short. It performs at its best in medium and semibold caps. Pair it with a wide-set body font to relieve the compression, and avoid it for long reading.
